Here is How Your Donations Will Help!

The average cost for HAPPE to find a loving new home for a dog is $275 and $245 for a cat. Typical expenses include food and litter, vaccines, spaying or neutering, food, and various medical costs. Despite these expenses, HAPPE has saved thousands of dogs and cats thanks to the generosity of its supporters like you.

Every dollar helps. For example*:

$11 will feed a dog in foster care for a week.
$14 will feed a litter of kittens in foster care for a week.
$40 will provide grooming for a neglected dog entering HAPPE's care.
$47 will provide for flea treatment and heart worm protection for one dog.
$75 pays for one spay or neuter surgery.
$250 pays for one animal's care while in HAPPE's care until adopted, including vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, medical treatment, food, and general care.
